Intels Neue Raccethall CPU´s

Laut Pressemeldungen der Firma Intel kommt im 4.ten Quartal 2010 eine neue CPU Serie auf den Markt. Diese neue Serie mit dem Codename Raccethall bietet unglaubliche neue Funktionen mit bis zu 8 Kernen und 4 Threads pro Kern soll die Rechenleistung im Gegensatz zum i7 nochmal um 80% ansteigen. Des weiteren kommt die Raccethall CPU mit 1MB L1 Cache und 24MB L3 Cache. Durch das neue 22nm Fertigungsverfahren liegt die TDP bei 80W, womit die CPU wohl leise und einfach zu kühlen sein wird. Interessant wird vorallem die Funktion Mehrere Betriebssysteme nebeneinander laufen zu lassen und dann per Tastenkombination zwischen Windows, SnowLeopard und einer Linux Distribution wechseln zu können. Ebenfalls neu sein wird der 2GB Große DDR3 Speicher der Bereits im Chip integriert ist. Somit brauchen LowLevel Anweder keinen RAM zusätzlich auf dem Mainboard und die Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit konnte nochmal gesteigert werden. In kürze wird und ein Testsample zur Verfügung stehen. Uihh der Gulfi hat 6 Kerne und jetzt 8 da lohnt sich ja kein Grafikkartenverkauf mehr später muß man alles wieder von neuem benchen :smilie:denk

Da liegt wohl ein Fehler vor, denn Intel führt seine neuen CPU's immer nach dem TickTock Prinzip ein.
Das heißt alle 2 Jahre eine neue Architektur und im Wechsel damit alle 2 zwei Jahre eine neues Fertigungsverfahren. 22nm Prozessoren dürften daher frühestens Ende 2011 zu erwarten sein.
