Harry's PBY Catalina! (Modellbau)

Hi,

wie einige ja schon wissen möchte ich wieder ein wenig in den Modellbau einsteigen und hierfür habe ich mir mein Traumflugzeug und einige Detailsets im Maßstab 1:48 bestellt. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Consolidated PBY-5a/OA-10A Catalina und in diesem Thread möchte ich die Bauphase und Nebenarbeiten dokumentieren.

Nun los :smilie:freu

Heute ist das Grundmodell gekommen, der Bausatz stammt aus den USA von Revell/Monogram.

Bin gespannt, werde den Verlauf des Threads mal verfolgen. Ist zwar nicht gerade mein Gebiet, aber sieht interessant aus. Was zahlt man für diesen Grundbausatz?

Oha, hab sowas mal probiert, überhaupt nicht mein Ding ^^

Man muss schon echt Geduld und konzentration bei sowas beweisen =/

So knappe 40€, die Detailkits kosten dann aber nochmal genauso viel und von den Farben und Werkzeugen fange ich erst gar nicht an :smilie:Augenzwinkern

N Flugzeug hab ich mir auch mal gebaut. Wollte sich aber leider nicht so wirklich steuern lassen und ist natürlich gegen den einzigen Baum im Umkreis von 300 m geflogen. Naja jetzt bin ich lieber auf Autos umgestiegen die sind doch handbarer.

Da es mit den Detailkits Lieferverzögerungen gab konnte ich noch nichts neues berichten, nun sind sie allerdings auf dem Postweg zu mir :)

Als erste Schritte kommen wohl die Motoren und das Cockpit dran. Dauert also nicht mehr lang mit den ersten Bildern.
