DDR3 4gb + 2GB ?

Hi leute,

Hab grad einen 4gb DDr3 1600MHZ G-SKlill im Dual channel drin.
Etz weiß ich, dass es nicht so toll ist wenn man etz nochmal 4gb von einem anderen Modell also gsklill reinpacken würde, denk mal wegen den Timings.
Aber braucht man überhaupt mehr als 4gb.
Bringt des viel mehr Punkte im bench oder macht des auch ein unterschied beim spielen von aufwendigen 3d games?

wenn du ein 32bit Betriebssystem hast, dann bringen die 4GB mehr an Speicher nichts, weil das Betriebssystem diese nicht verwalten kann. Falls du 64bit Betriebssystem hast, dann hast etwas mehr "Platz" für Auslagerungen. Beim Laden von Spielen könnte es evtl was bringen, viel wirds aber nicht sein. Wenn du natürlich Videos und Fotos bearbeitest, sind manchmal paar MB mehr an Arbeitsspeicher nicht schlecht.
