Das dürfte das größere Problem darstellen.

Was ich mich weiter hin frage ist ob es besser ist beim 1366 zu bleiben oder auf sandy zu wecheln.

Wechsel jetzt solange du noch einen guten Preis für dein 1366-System bekommst
Ich würde als MB das UD4 von Gigabyte empfehlen.
