Kann einen 25 GByte Blu-ray Rohling in 14 Minuten voll beschreiben

Panasonic LF-PB371JD Wie zu ihren Zeiten CD- und DVD-Laufwerke werden auch Blu-ray Brenner mittlerweile immer schneller. Panasonic hat gestern mit dem LF-PB371JD in Japan ein neues Gerät dieser Art angekündigt, dass BD-R Blu-ray Rohlinge mit bis zu 8-facher Geschwindigkeit beschreiben kann (aktuell ist derzeit 6x). Wiederbeschreibbare BD-RE Medien werden immerhin mit 2x Speed gebrannt.

Die anderen Schreibgeschwindigkeiten: 5x DVD-RAM, 16x DVD±R, 8x Double-Layer DVD±R, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD+RW, 48x CD-R und 32x CD-RW.
Der Panasonic LF-PB371JD besitzt eine Serial-ATA Schnittstelle sowie einen 8 MByte großen Datenpuffer und soll ab Mitte September für umgerechnet 250 Euro erhältlich sein.

Bin gespannt wie die Preise weiter fallen. Könnte bald ne gute Alternative zur DVD werden

Ich muß mir mal so einen Blu Ray Player in der Videothek ausleihen und mit DVD vergleichen ob das wirklich so ein Hammer Unterschied ist.
