Mein M2F packt grad so 500 Mhz, packt das das Extreme auch ?

Bei mir zickt das Teil ja schon bei 470 rum... 1.375V NB Spannung unter dem läuft da kein 1024er durch...

hab mal Bios-Versionen hinzugefügt, leider kämpf i immer no mit den 470FSB und dem Ram, anscheinend mach das Rampage meinen Mushkin Ram nicht :smilie:16s

Das merk ich auch, dass die Asus Bretter teilweise zickig mit den Mushkins sind, musst mal die Sub Timings entschärfen, dann gings bei mir besser, anscheinend haut der total aggressive Subs rein, wenn man den Speichertakt anhebt.

i bin gespannt ob i das no hin bekomm oder net, aber i bin guter hoffnung :smilie:cool

edit:

jetzt hab i doch mal alle subtimings von hand eingestellt und net auf auto stehn lassen und diese au noch jeweils um einen Wert erhöht, mal sehn obs jetzt besser wird oder nicht. Super Pi 1m ist zumindest ohne Probs durchgelaufen, jetzt sind 32m dran.

immer schön langsam, i will ja net unbedingt die cpu grillen, zur zeit hängt sie an nem 240er Radi und lüfter drehen natürlich sehr leise, will doch net taub werden :smilie:happy

, aber mal sehn, sobald die 4,0 fertig sind, probier i die 480 - 500 FSB schritte aus.

Bin eigentlich ein wenig enttäuscht.

Das Rampage braucht ja mehr NB Voltage für die 470 als mein Maximus II Formula, also für Quads, scheint das Teil keine Vorteile zu bringen. Und du musstest ja schon an der NB GTL schrauben!

Du darfst net vergessen, dass beim Rampage die NB erst ab 1,25v anfängt nicht wie bei deinem Maximus, da ist doch die NB scho ab 1,1 oder?

auf dem X48er ist ein anderer Chip drauf, drum braucht er von haus aus etwas mehr. Da ist der unterschied von 1,39 und 1,25 gerad mal 0,14v i weiß net, ob das meim P45er genau so ist.

Der Hauptunterschied ist der Fertigungsprozess von beiden Chipsätzen. Der P45 ist im Gegensatz zum X48 schon in 65nm gefertigt, weshalb die Standardspannung auch niedriger ist.
1.39V auf dem X48 sind imo auch noch im Rahmen

Hab mal getestet was meins mit alltagstauglichen Spannungen & Temperaturen Prime-Stabil schafft.

608Mhz FSB, 972Mhz RAM Takt (8-8-8-27-1T), E8300@4,25Ghz
